Version: buyer-2026-10-09
You agree to these terms when you join the Korra buyer network. You must accept them before you read a full listing or make an offer.
1. Who can join
- Company accounts only, on a company email address.
- You tell Korra what you buy records for and what you have bought before.
- Korra opens each buyer account by hand, usually after a call, and may refuse or remove an account.
2. What Korra does
- Korra verifies each seller: a company email on the company's own domain, the business and the person's role, the seller terms signed, and a stated right to license the records on every listing.
- Korra verifies each partner who introduces a seller, and the seller confirms the introduction.
- Korra reads every listing before it is published and de-identifies the card. A listing that does not add up is sent back or declined.
- Korra passes questions, answers and offers between you and the seller, and reads each answer before it is released to you.
- Korra offers template paper for the licence, the delivery and the payment.
Korra does not open, prepare, clean or deliver the records themselves, and does not hold money. The seller sends any sample. The licence is between you and the seller. Korra is not a party to it.
3. Offers
- An offer is an offer, not a contract. The seller decides.
- Your offer is sealed: you see your own offers, not other buyers' offers. Once three buyers have bid on a card, the highest bid shows on the card.
- When the seller accepts, you and the seller learn each other's names and talk in the portal. You have 14 days to sign between you, or the card reopens.
4. Korra's fee
- Any licence that starts from a Korra listing owes Korra a facilitation fee of 10% of the accepted price.
- You pay the fee on top of the price. It does not come out of the seller's price.
- Korra invoices the fee after the deal closes, on net 30 terms.
- You report the closing price in the portal within 7 days of signing.
- If you license the same seller's records outside the shelf within 12 months of an introduction through Korra, the fee is still owed.
5. The fee is part of your licence
Your right to use records licensed through a Korra introduction is conditional on paying the fee. A buyer that does not pay the fee leaves the network.
6. Confidentiality
- What you read on the shelf and in the portal is confidential. Use it only to decide whether to make an offer.
- Do not try to identify a seller from a de-identified card. Removing names does not make records anonymous, so treat every card as confidential.
- Do not share listing details, questions or answers outside your company.
7. Leaving
You can close your account at any time. The fee terms in section 4 still apply to introductions made before you leave.
This is a template Korra offers for convenience. It is not legal advice. Have your own adviser read it before you sign.
